is it true that if you are pulled over by a cop and he says you are speeding, you can ask to see the radar gun? And if he refuses then the ticket will be thrown out in court?

    • Ditto.

      You can ask to see it, but there is no legal requirement in any state that an officer has to show the reading to you. In fact, most officers will NOT show you for a host of safety reasons.

      However there is that rare enthusiast that loves to "sell the ticket" to the violator. (but usually not on an interstate)
